Clave is a unified workspace that combines project management, issue tracking, real-time documents, whiteboards, and a deeply integrated AI assistant. This page gives you a one-stop overview of every feature area with links to detailed guides.
Project management
Track work from idea to delivery. Clave projects support milestones, sprint cycles, a backlog, team members, and status updates. Each project has its own dashboard showing completion rates, at-risk milestones, and recent activity.
Issue tracking
Create, assign, and triage issues across your workspace. Issues support kanban, list, and timeline views, plus sub-issues, blocking relations, labels, priorities, and sprints. AI auto-triage suggests priority, type, and labels the moment you start typing.
Documents
Write and collaborate in a rich block-based editor. Documents support headings, code blocks, tables, embeds, slash commands, and inline AI. Multiple team members can edit simultaneously with live cursors and real-time sync.
Whiteboards
Sketch, diagram, and plan on an infinite canvas powered by Excalidraw. Draw shapes, add text, insert images, and pin comment threads to any element. AI can generate diagrams from a text prompt or explain what's already on the board.
Personal tasks
Manage your own to-do list independent of projects. Tasks have a title, status, priority, due date, and optional project link. View them as a kanban board or a flat list, sorted and filtered your way.
Clients
Keep a lightweight CRM alongside your project work. Store client companies, contacts, and notes, and link clients directly to the projects you're running for them.
Files
Upload and store files directly in your workspace. Attach files to issues, documents, and projects so everything your team needs is always in one place.
Notes
A quick scratch pad for your workspace. Notes use a lightweight block editor and auto-save as you type — ideal for meeting notes, rough drafts, and reference material that doesn't need a full document.
AI chat and agents
Open the AI chat sidebar with Cmd+J and start a conversation. Clave's AI assistant is workspace-aware — it can read your issues, documents, and projects, and take actions on your behalf. Preset agents (Project Manager, Technical Writer, Code Reviewer) handle common workflows; you can also configure custom sub-agents with their own system prompts.
Inbox and notifications
Every @mention, assignment, comment, and status change flows into your Inbox. Notifications are grouped, filterable, and arrive in real-time. Snooze anything you're not ready to deal with, or let the AI smart digest summarize what happened while you were away.
Analytics
The Performance dashboard shows workspace-wide metrics: on-track project rate, completed issues, cycle time, blocked work, and scope delta. Filter by project or team member and export a PDF report.
Settings and customization
Workspace admins can customize issue types, statuses, priorities, and labels. Configure AI behavior with workspace context and assistant characteristics. Connect GitHub, add MCP servers, manage team members, and set up billing — all from the settings sidebar.
